If you are looking to fill the cupboards and fridge for the duration of your stay, there is a Walmart (1233 N Lee Hwy, Lexington, VA 24450), Food Lion (84 E. Midland Trl), and Kroger (422 E. Nelson St) in Lexington. Kroger and Walmart now offer the convenience of order pick up!

Lexington Visitor’s Center: 106 E. Washington Street

Open daily: 8am – 6pm (June – August); 8:30am – 5:30pm (September – October); 9am – 5pm (November – May). Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. 

Horse Back Riding

Morning Star Stables is located on Cason’s Horse Farm in beautiful Rockbridge County in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Morning Star Stables specializes in small private horseback riding groups which enables us to offer all our customers a personal horse experience which is hard to find these days. They enjoy focusing on the unique needs of each of our groups and keeping our experiences small and private. Jump Mountain Vineyard

Located at 1493 Walkers Creek Road, Rockbridge Baths, VA (a short 2.1 mile drive from The Farm at Jump View). 

This vineyard is only open on the weekends

Dave and Mary focus on producing high-quality vintages, the vineyard has quickly gained a reputation for its meticulous wine-making process and the unique flavors of its wines. The serene setting of the vineyard, with the Jump Mountain in the backdrop, makes it a perfect spot for wine lovers to relax and savor the best of what Virginia has to offer.
